Our Manifesto

SMARTLY aims to strengthen the employability of youths while ensuring that Public Employment Services across Europe enhance the strengths of individuals that are not in education, employment or training (NEETs) to meet the needs of the labour market for the Green and Digital Sectors.

Our Goals

PROFILING

Our main aim is to develop an innovative profiling tool that focuses on digital and green skills.

TRAINING

Relevant training programmes will be designed to strengthen digital and green skills through an accredited system.

EMPLOYABILITY

An enhanced profiling system and exposure on in-demand skills will increase youth employability.

CLIMATE CHANGE

SMARTLY will train and equip workers with further skills to meet the needs of the Green Economy.

DIGITAL ECONOMY

Youths will learn digital skills that are becoming increasingly important as digitisation enters the mainstream.

COLLABORATION

SMARTLY is made possible through a Jobsplus-led collaboration of eight partners from seven European countries.

  • Dec 21 to Jan 22

    Project contract signing and Kick-off Meeting.

    The contract is signed to mark the official start of the SMARTLY Project. Plans for the project kick-off meeting in Malta are disrupted by the pandemic.

  • Dec 21 to Jul 22

    Research phase and development of report titled 'Integrating NEETs In The Green And Digital Economy: Recent Trends, Policy Developments, And Future Prospects' by CASE.

  • Mar 22 to Jul 23

    Work on the development of the Green and Digital profiling tool by Jobsplus.

    Comparative analysis of profiling tools used within the consortium, research, and development of a new online tool to evaluate one's green and digital skills in English, Croatian, and Greek languages.

  • Apr 22 to May 23

    CDE Petra Patrimonia starts work on the development of a training program on Green Skills.

    ANCI Toscana starts work on the development of a training program on Digital Skills.

    Design of 25-hour training programs, including learning outcomes, reading lists, and assessment to seek accreditation at MQF level 3 with 1 ECTS.

    Submission of the first progress report.

    A two-day Transnational Meeting in Marseille, France hosted by CDE Petra Patrimonia.

  • Oct 22

    A two-day Transnational Meeting and Multiplier Event held in Siena, Italy hosted by POLO Grosseto.

  • Oct 22 to Oct 23

    Training content validation and accreditation by Polo Grosseto and CASE.

    Project Quality Assurance exercise being conducted on the project implementation by Polo Grosseto.

    Accreditation of the training programs in Malta being handled by Jobsplus.

  • Nov 22

    Interim Report submission.

  • Jan 23 to Oct 23

    Profiling tool testing works by HZZ, our Croatian Public Employment Service Partner.

    The Profiling tools developed are being tested in Malta, Croatia, and Cyprus among 100 youths combined, as well as Public Employment Service staff and other related stakeholders.

    Enhancement of the profiling tool and recommendation on further developments required.

  • Jan 23 to Dec 23

    Production of various articles on the Project and the Green and Digital areas.

  • Apr 23

    Transnational and Multiplier Event hosted by HZZ in Croatia.

  • Nov 23

    Final closing event to be held in Florence, Italy organized by Jobsplus in collaboration with ANCI Toscana.

    Partners will conclude the entire project implementation and present all project results.

  • Feb 24

    Submission of the Final Report.
